CAA BAGS BRYAN
AS BRAND MAN

Creative Artists Agency has called on former iHeartMedia executive Michael Bryan to lead the music department’s artist development and artist brand strategy efforts.

In the newly created position based in Nashville, Bryan will collaborate with client teams on developing acts’ brands, social media and other marketing platforms plus liaise with managers, labels and radio programmers.

In addition, Bryan will identify and create new touring models with radio-based properties, expanding on lifestyle tours such as 2016’s Ticket To Rock and the Vans Warped Tour.

With nearly two decades of radio programming experience, Bryan was most recently Senior Vice President, Programming, for iHeartMedia’s Nashville market, overseeing the on-air and online programming for the market’s six broadcast stations and branded digital sites. He was Executive Program Director for the nationally syndicated Bobby Bones Show and Tige & Daniel show.

“Michael has built a well-earned reputation as a savvy brand manager and radio programmer with a keen understanding of the music marketplace across multiple genres and proven ability to break an artist,” said Marc Dennis, co-head of CAA Music’s Nashville operations. “His expertise and network of relationships complements our vast resources and suite of client service offerings, further enhancing opportunities we can provide artists.”

Led by Dennis, Scott Clayton, Rod Essig, John Huie, and Darin Murphy, CAA Music’s Nashville team books artists such as Zac Brown Band, Twenty One Pilots, Keith Urban, Dixie Chicks, John Mayer, Maren Morris, Little Big Town, The Chainsmokers and Kelsea Ballerini.
