WON'T KEEP "QUIET"
A touching video of a group of women singing "Quiet," a protest song by Los Angeles singer MILCK, at the Women's March on Washington this weekend is going viral. Watch it below.
According to Buzzfeed News, "Alma Har’el, a Los Angeles-based director who happened to come across the group of singers as she was trying to get out of a packed area, posted the video that went viral... Har’el couldn’t post the video to her Facebook until right before she boarded her flight back to Los Angeles. By the time she landed, the video had more than 30,000 views." It's was at six million by Sunday evening, and is currently at around 10 million.
MILCK originally wrote the song as a way to heal from physical and sexual abuse, as well as depression and anorexia, but found it relevant given the current social and political climate. The official video for "Quiet" can be seen here.
