THE VOICE CROWNS ITS 11TH WINNER DURING STAR-STUDDED FINALE

Team Blake's 37-year-old country musician, Sundance Head, won Season 11 of The Voice, which aired on NBC last night as a two-hour finale that broadcast live in Eastern and Central time zones. As of this morning, Head has the Top 2 songs at iTunes with "Darlin' Don't Go" (an original) and his version of Etta James' "At Last.”

Stevie Wonder opened the show, performing new single "Faith" (off the upcoming film Sing) with help from Ariana Grande. Later Bruno Mars, The Weeknd and Sting all performed. KISS rocked "Detroit Rock City" and "Rock and Roll All Night" with Head, Kelly Clarkson performed Hamilton's "It's Quiet Uptown" with runner-up Billy Gilman, John Legend serenaded the crowd with We McDonald on his "Love Me Now" and country breakout star Cam performed her platinum smash, "Burning House," with finalist Josh Gallagher.

It's important to note that the finale was cut into two parts, with one airing on Monday. The ratings for Monday have already come in. The show earned a 2.2 rating from the 18-49 demo and 11.4m viewers, which is significantly worse than last year's equivalent episode (3.2 demo rating, 14.03 million viewers), but better than the spring's (2.0 demo rating, 10.26 million viewers). Stay tuned for Day 2 ratings, which should come in shortly.
