GRAINGE TIMES

Following the holiday break, Sir Lucian Grainge's Universal Music Group appears to be smoking hot at iTunes, with seven of the Top 10 singles. Four of those belong to Republic. Looks like Team Ethos has done it again.

The #1 spot belongs to The Weeknd's "Starboy" (XO/Republic). Then there's Hailee Steinfeld & Grey f/Zedd's "Starving" at #4, Drake's "Fake Love" (YMCMB) at #9 and Ariana Grande f/Nicki Minaj's "Side to Side" at #10. We're sure the Lipman brothers, as well as prexy Charlie Walk, were nothing but humble at the Thanksgiving dinner table.

And we're expecting a celebratory "Mannequin Challenge" video from Interscope's John Janick and Steve Berman any moment now, as they house UMG's remaining three tracks. Those are Rae Sremmurd f/Gucci Mane's "Black Beatles" (Eardruma) at #2, Machine Gun Kelly & Camila Cabello's "Bad Things" at #6 and Maroon 5 f/Kendrick Lamar's "Don't Wanna Know" (222) at #8.
