The Rescission Act of 1946 retroactively annulled benefits that would have been payable to Filipino troops who served under the banner of the U.S. when the country was a U.S. territory. This long-standing injustice was the basis for a Veteran's Day demonstration just outside our Hollywood Blvd. offices on 11/11, and many notables have stood up in solidarity, as this dramatic piece of photojournalism demonstrates.
