U.K. CHARTS: ALL HAIL KING ARTHUR

SYCO comeback kid James Arthur has scored his first #1 album with Back From The Edge topping the Official Albums Chart on combined sales of 41k. Thanks to Little Mix, Simon Cowell's Sony label nabs the singles #1, too.

Arthur is the second X Factor winner to top the chart with a second album after Leona Lewis did so with Echo in 2009.

There are two more new entries in this week’s Top 5 as CourteenersMapping the Rendezvous (Ignition) enters at #4 and MadnessCan’t Touch Us Now (Universal) does so at #5.

Dropping one place from last week is Elvis Presley’s The Wonder of You (Sony Music CG) and Michael Buble’s Nobody But Me (Warner).

BMG-signed singer/songwriter Jack Savoretti is new at #6 with third album Sleep No More. Robbie WilliamsGreatest Hits is back in the Top 10 for the first time in 10years at #9; Columbia released his 11th studio album, The Heavy Entertainment Show, today. The new set shot to #1 on iTunes—will it score Williams his 12th Official Albums #1 next week?

Over on the Official Singles Chart, Little Mix are #1 for a third consecutive week with “Shout Out To My Ex” (SYCO) tallying 79k combined sales.

This week’s most-streamed track, Arthur’s “Say You Won’t Let Go,” is #2, while Clean Bandit rise four places to #3 with “Rockabye” (Atlantic). Meanwhile, Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic” (Atlantic) is at a new peak of #6.

The Weeknd f/Daft Punk’s Starboy (Island) is a non-mover at #4 while The Chainsmokers f/Halsey’s “Closer” (RCA) moves down two places to #5.
