Warner Bros.' Ben Affleck-led The Accountant debuted in the top spot at the box office this weekend with $25m. The film, which also stars Anna Kendrick and J.K. Simmons and cost $44m to make, opened to lukewarm reviews, though. The only other new release to make the Top 10, Universal's Kevin Hart: What Now, followed at #2 with $12m. The latter is a recording of the final stop of Hart's stand-up tour, which marked the first time a comedian has ever performed to a sold-out football stadium (Lincoln Financial Field).
FYI - last week's #1, Universal's The Girl on the Train, missed landing the #2 spot by less than $10k.
