The Grammy Foundation will hold Living Histories Live: An Evening With Iggy Pop and Don Was on 10/23 at Detroit's Majestic Theatre. According to the org, the event, hosted by Grammy Foundation VP Scott Goldman, "highlights the musical contributions of Pop and Was, creative collaborators who share deep and common roots in Detroit."
A Q&A and joint performance are scheduled to occur. Michigan native and Queens of the Stone Age member Dean Fertita—who worked with Iggy on his collaboration with QOTSA frontman Josh Homme, Post Pop Depression—will accompany the pair for the latter.
Priced at $35, GA tickets are available here.
This is probably the only Grammy-related opportunity where the absence of a shirt won't be completely frowned upon, and we suggest you take advantage of that. Cheers.
