HALSEY FINDS SOME PEACE AND NOT-SO-QUIET

Astralwerks/Capitol siren Halsey will perform at the 23rd annual Nobel Peace Prize Concert, it was announced today. The event will take place at Oslo's Telenor Arena on 12/11.

The only other performing act that has been revealed so far is Norwegian rock band Highasakite, but more are to be announced shortly. Previous lineups have featured Paul McCartney, Elton John, Alicia Keys, Florence + The Machine, Rihanna, Angelique Kidjo and a-ha, among others.

“We’re thrilled that Halsey will be joining us in December for the Nobel Peace Prize Concert,” shared Olav Njølstad, Director of the Norwegian Nobel Institute. “Through her music, she’ll be helping share the message of peace to a global audience. Not only will those in attendance be able to watch an electrifying performance, but fans across the world will be able to stream the special event on YouTube.”

Yes, you read that right. If you can't find a ride to Norway this December, you're in luck; for the second consecutive year, the concert will be streamed live on YouTube. If you can find a ride, though, you're really in luck, and you should take us with you—we know plenty of drinking games for the trip.
