RED BULL UPS CALITRI

Red Bull Records has upped its International General Manager Joe Calitri to General Manager, overseeing label business domestically and worldwide. Calitri will have a well-stocked fridge at Red Bull Records’ Los Angeles headquarters, where he reports to Managing Director Greg Hammer.

Calitri joined Red Bull Records in 2013 after working as General Manager of Fueled By Ramen where he spearheaded the releases for multi-platinum artists such as Panic! At The Disco, Fun., twenty one pilots and others. From 1999-2006 he was VP of Sales & Field Marketing at Island Def Jam.

Hammer said that over the last three years, “Joe has proven to be a huge resource to the company and I look forward to watching him apply his talents to this extended role.”

“I look forward to continuing the work I’ve done internationally with Red Bull Records over the past three years and applying it to our entire operation and ethos globally,” Calitri said. “Working alongside the tremendous marketing power of the Red Bull brand continues to be a truly unique experience and I believe it is what separates us from traditional record labels. And I’m totally buzzed on a completely legal product, which also separates us from other labels.”
