LUMINEERS LOOKING PRESIDENTIAL

Here's something that's not subject to debate: Dualtone's The Lumineers belong in the White House. Or rather, nearby; they'll be appearing as part of President Obama's South by South Lawn festival on 10/3. The event, designed to spur activism, ideas and creativity, will also feature Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Leonardo DiCaprio and Stranger Things creators The Duffer Brothers.

The Lumineers, meanwhile, will also be performing on Kimmel today, and have been mentioned by Grammy Whisperer Paul Grein as part of the Album of the Year conversation for their acclaimed Cleopatra.
