Several leading lights of Nashville are joining the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Pie in Your Face Competition to raise money for the venerable charity. Among the contestants in the Music Industry category are BMLG's John Zarling, Warner Music Nashville's Peter Strickland, BBR Music Group's Jon Loba, Grand Ole Opry's Pete Fisher, Bluebird Cafe Prexy/GM Erika Wollam Nichols and our own Nashville correspondent Holly Gleason. All of these people would like to put a pie in our face, even if it didn't benefit any worthy causes.
Whoever raises the most money in each professional category gets a pie in the face, with said event captured on video and other formats by local media.
Visit the site for more info, and stay tuned for news of funds raised and pies thrown.
