THE NEW iPHONE WILL HELP YOU SEE IN A "BLACKOUT"

A commercial for the new iPhone 7 ran during the Emmys last night, focusing on the device's superior low-light camera. Aptly, the song to accompany the ad, which has already garnered 786k YouTube views, is titled "In a Blackout"; that's by Glassnote duo Hamilton Leithauser + Rostam, pairing former members of Walkmen and Vampire Weekend.

We expect that it'll make big noise on the Shazam chart, so stay tuned for that.

Hamilton Leithauser + Rostam released their debut single in July. Six days ago, they performed it on Colbert; watch that here. And their full-length, I Had A Dream That You Were Mine, is coming Friday. Talk about a good time for an Apple sync...
