The Morrison Hotel Gallery and the Sunset Marquis Hotel have partnered with PledgeMusic for a one-of-a-kind hip hop photography exhibit that will adorn the walls of the West Hollywood gallery.
Called Parental Advisory: Explicit Images - A Hip-Hop Photography Event, no doubt a nod to the cultural impact this genre has made since its rise, the exhibit will be open to the public from 9/16—9/24.
It includes iconic images of some of the most famous hip-hop artists, taken by legendary photographers such as Timothy White, Clay Patrick McBride, Danny Clinch, Jake Chessum, Janette Beckman, Lawrence Watson, Lisa Leone, Lynn Goldsmith, Mike Miller and Travis Shinn.
This past Sunday night celebrated photographer and Morrison Hotel gallery co-owner Timothy White (not to be confused with Billboard's late editor) threw a lavish party to celebrate, and special guests seen mingling included Master P, Lil Wayne, 2Chainz and HITS' own Jason Hashaway (pictured here with White) who couldn't resist keeping it 100 under the banner.
