The Chainsmokers f/Halsey's "Closer" (Columbia) looks like it's turning into a megahit. The track, which has sold around 652k in five weeks, has officially gone #1 on Spotify's global, U.S. and U.K. streaming charts, holding off Major Lazer f/Justin Bieber & MØ's red-hot "Cold Water" (Mad Decent/Def Jam).
Meanwhile, Martin Garrix & Bebe Rexha's "In the Name of Love" (Sony Music) makes its Top 10 debut at #9 on the global chart. In the U.K.—where it's out via Columbia—it appears at #10.
On the stateside chart, the predecessor to "Closer"—The Chainsmokers f/Daya's "Don't Let Me Down"—breaks back into the Top 10, landing at #9 there.
