U.K. CHARTS: MAJOR LAZER STILL POURING AT #1

Major Lazer, Justin Bieber and MO have remained on top for a fourth week in Blighty, as new band Blossoms score a second week at #1 on the albums chart.

“Cold Water” (Because Music) shifted just under 83k combined chart sales—26k downloads and 5.67m streams—to beat Bieber and DJ Snake’s “Let Me Love You” (Polydor), which holds at #2 for a second week on the Official Singles Chart.

Calum Scott’s cover of Robyn’s “Dancing On My Own” (Virgin EMI) is a non-mover at #3 for its sixth week in the Top 5. Chainsmokers have risen a promising 12 places to #4 with Halsey track “Closer” (RCA) while Jonas Blue f/JP Cooper’s “Perfect Strangers” (Virgin EMI) slides one place to #5.

Over at Official Albums list, Blossoms’ self-titled debut, released via Virgin EMI, holds at #1. It was a quiet session for album sales this week, with the record finishing at around the 8k mark.

Despite ELO being the midweek #1, Drake’s Views is #2 (Island), while ELO move up one place to #3 with All Over The World—The Very Best Of (Epic).

Christine & The QueensChaleur Humaine (Because Music) is up two places to #4 and Bob Marley’s Legend(Tuff Gong) shoots six places to #5.
