FLIPOVER FRIDAY: iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC NEW ARRIVALS

California from Viking Wizard/BMG’s blink-182 shoots to #1 like a ray of sunshine as new releases roll out at iTunes. Its one of five new releases joining the ranks of mainstays Drake and Beyoncé.

Maxwell’s first album in seven years, blackSUMMER’Snight (Columbia), opens at #2 followed by the second album from Island’s American Authors, What We Live For at #5.

Snoop Dogg’s latest, Coolaid on Doggy Style/EOne, fetches the #7 slot. And Columbia’s Rachel Platten, whose Wildfire came out 1/1, gets a boost from a performance on NBC’s Today to slip in at #9.

When it comes to streaming, just say the name “Drake.” The Cash Money/Republic superstar has five of the top streaming songs on Apple Music and is the featured artist on DJ Khaled’s “For Free” (Epic) at #7. “One Dance” f/Wizkid and Kyla is as isolated at #1 as Drake is on the cover of Views From the 6. “Controlla” sits at #2 and “Too Good” f/Rihanna is at #4. Besides “For Free,” DJ Khaled has “I Got the Keys” f/Jay Z and Future at #3.
