SPOTIFY STANDINGS: DRAKE DANCES ON

Drake's "One Dance" (YMCMB/Republic) holds the #1 spot at all three of our represented Spotify charts (worldwide, U.S. and U.K.) for a ninth week. Boy, are we starting to sound like a broken record; what else is new, though? This thing's a massive hit, and hits have always had long tails. The only difference now is that there's a pretty lil' graphic to prove it. Expect him to continue to slaughter, at least for a little while longer.

Kent Jones—the buzzing newcomer signed to tastemaker DJ Khaled's Epic imprint, We The Best—breaks into the stateside Top 10, knocking Drake's "Pop Style" out of the picture. Drizzy's got nothing to worry about, though, as three of his tracks remain strong on that chart ("One Dance," "Too Good" and "Controlla").

Globally, there are no new additions to the Top 10, but Sia f/Sean Paul's "Cheap Thrills" (RCA) does manage to jump #5-4 with an approximate 202k stream lead over its closest competitor, G.O.O.D./Def Jam's Desiigner.

In the U.K., French DJ Kungs' remix of Australian trio Cookin' On 3 Burners' "This Girl" (3beat), which rose into the Top 10 at #9 last week, grows to #6. Interestingly, the indie sensation, which has had great success in Blighty and across Europe, is currently poised to dethrone Drake's "One Dance" on the Official Singles Chart in the U.K. Stay tuned for on that race as it heats up over the next few days, and expect the dance banger to continue to rake in the streams.
