UMPG has added Ana Rosa Santiago as VP of Latin Music, reporting to EVP Latin Music Alexandra Lioutikoff. Santiago previously served for 18 years at ASCAP in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean; prior to that she served at Peer Music, focusing on the U.S. and Central and South America.
Her appointment is the first big hire by Lioutikoff since she stepped into the EVP role, as the House of Jody makes serious moves to build out its Latin division.
Lioutikoff praised Santiago's "ear for talent" and "ability to identify A&R opportunities early."
Donald Trump, however, has raised questions about the department's ability to assess his demo fairly.
