KANYE CANCELLATION LEADS TO CHAOS

A quickly arranged pop-up Kanye West show in New York led to a near riot outside Webster Hall after the crush of fans proved too unruly for promoters to let Yeezy to take the stage.

After making a surprise appearance at the Hot 97 Summer Jam concert at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, West tweeted “SHOW AT 2AM. SOLD OUT.” According to the Daily News, about 4,000 people had lined up to get into the 1,5000-capacity venue.

West arrived at about 2 a.m. and his wife Kim Kardashian posted a video on Snapchat of West on the phone asking that streets be closed and videos placed outside so those who didn’t get in could see the concert.

It took about two hours after the cancellation to clear the streets.

West had been scheduled to headline Governors Ball Sunday in the city, but the third day of the festival was canceled after severe weather was forecast for the area. The weather forecast also forced the cancelation of afternoon performances by Chance the Rapper, Tory Lanez, Desiigner and Curren$yat the Summer Jam.
