The Top 5 Highest-Grossing Films in America Over the Weekend

Two debuts made the Top 5 biggest earners at the box office this week, as Paramount sequel Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows bowed in the top spot with $35m and Warner Bros.' romantic drama, Me Before You, appeared at #3 with $18m.

Universal's Judd Apatow-produced pop music mockumentary, Pop Star: Never Stop Never Stopping, which stars Andy Samberg and the rest of Lonely Island, also came out this past week. It earned great reviews, but only ended up raking in $4.6m to land at #8. Republic has the soundtrack, which dropped the same day as the movie (6/3). In case you missed it, Lonely Island recently premiered the music video for one of the ST's songs, "Finest Girl (Bin Laden Song)," on SNL; watch that here.
