SONGWRITERS FETE SETS LINEUP
The B-52s, Marcus Mumford, Jennifer Hudson, Roger McGuinn, Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff, Rachel Platten, Sister Sledge, James Corden, Jussie Smolette and Jon Voight will present or perform at the 47th annual Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Dinner on 6/9 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York.
This year’s inductees are Elvis Costello, Marvin Gaye, Tom Petty, the team of Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards and Chip Taylor. Lionel Richie will be honored with the Johnny Mercer Award; Nick Jonas will receive the Hal David Starlight Award; and Seymour Stein will be awarded with the Howie Richmond Hitmaker Award.
