The NBA teamed up with mega producer Timbaland to launch a new channel on Vine by debuting a new song through the service.
Timbo is at the helm of the new NBA Playoffs song “Every Second Counts,” and the track will be fully revealed through a series of Vines that the NBA started posting on Wednesday (6/1), one day before Game 1 of the Finals, which tips off at 6pm PDT on ABC.
The new channel called “Then and Now” is of course, themed around the Finals—and will feature a series of game highlights from all the past legendary match-ups. (Whoa, look at all the hair on Ginobili!) Vines posted by the NBA will loop perfectly on their own so when watched back to back (using the "Watch" button on the channel), they will make up the entire song "Every Second Counts."
Couldn’t be more true to Vine, which has a limit of just six seconds.
The result will be a pretty crafty first-of-its-kind highlight music video, comprised entirely of seamless looping individual Vines. Kids these days.
