RAGE ON THE
SUNSET STRIP

Prophets of Rage—the recently formed supergroup that comprises Rage Against the Machine members (sans Zack de la Rocha), Public Enemy's Chuck D and Cypress Hill's B-Real—made their live debut at L.A.'s famed Whisky A Go Go last night.

It's worth noting, by the way, that Tom Morello detests being referred to as a supergroup, claiming instead, "we're an elite task force of revolutionary musicians determined to confront this mountain of election year bullshit, and confront it head-on with Marshall stacks blazing."

That said, it's also worth noting that the sides of the Whisky were covered Black Power fists, and #MakeAmericaRAGEAgain was presented in graffiti beneath the marquis. Yea. Get ready, boys and girls.

The subtlety didn't stop there, either. “This is dedicated to Donald Trump!,” shouted B-Real before jumping into new anthem “The Party's Over.” They also had hats made like Trump's signature red one that of course read "Make America Rage Again."

Tickets for the show, which actually marked Chuck D's first-ever performance at The Whisky, went on sale the day of at the venue's box office for a mere $20. Proceeds went to homeless charity PATH. See the dynamic setlist below.
