This weekend, Courtney Barnett—Mom+Pop's Australian singer/songwriter, who was up for Best New Artist at this year's Grammys—rocked the socks off SNL, where she served as musical guest and Fred Armisen took the post of host.
Watch her performances of "Nobody Really Cares If You Don't Go the Party" and "Pedestrian at Best," which definitely helped in bringing an old-school SNL vibe to the 5/21 show, below.
And FYI, her album, Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit—released over a year ago—was #6 on iTunes' alternative chart and #35 overall come Monday morning.
