BROOKYLN SHOWERS BAD BOY WITH LOVE

Jay Z made a now-legendary appearance at the Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour at Brooklyn's Barclays Center Friday 5/20, a night already steeped in nostalgia and real emotions, considering it was the also the eve of Notorious B.I.G.'s 44th birthday.

Featured performers were Mary J. Blige (“You saved my life,” Puffy said to her at the end of her set. “There would be no Bad Boy without you”) plus Lil’ Kim, Mase, Faith Evans, 112 and Total. But Nas, French Montana, Busta Rhymes, Rick Ross and Ty Dolla $ign also hit the stage as surprise guests and delivered fire sets.

“Whenever I get in trouble, this is the one I call,” Diddy said of Jay Z in his introduction. “This is my strategist, right here, this my brother, this B.I.G.’s brother, this Brooklyn’s own.”
