CANCER ORG SALUTES LIPMANS

Ariana Grande and Lion King star Chondra Profit saluted Republic Chairman/CEO Monte Lipman and his wife Angelina at the 10th Annual DKMS Gala Thursday night at Cipriani Wall Street. The event raised more than $4.6m to help fund the registration of lifesaving bone marrow donors across the country.

Profit, inspired to become a registered donor by her late co-star Shannon Skye Tavarez, was reunited at the event with the boy who received her bone marrow donation. She performed “Circle of Life” in memory of Shannon and those who have lost their battle with blood cancer.

Republic artist Grande closed out the night with performances “One Less Problem,” “Love Me Harder,” “Dangerous Woman” and “One Last Time.”

Besides the Lipmans, the event honored Daniele and Alexandre Behring, the co-founder and Managing Partner of 3G Capital.
