CLIVE DAVIS DOC FINANCED
Chris Perkel’s documentary on Clive Davis has secured financing and sales agents globally and domestically.
IM Global, a subsidiary of Indian conglomerate Reliance ADA, will fully finance and handle worldwide sales for Clive Davis: The Soundtrack Of Our Lives. WME Global will sell domestic distribution rights to the film. The sales effort starts 5/13 at the Cannes Film Festival and Market.
Perkel, co-director of The Town That Was and editor on Pearl Jam 20, will direct, and by Scott Free Productions’ Michael Bernstein is the producer. Ridley Scott and Mary Lisio are executive producers as are IM Global Founder and CEO Stuart Ford and IM Global Music President David Schulhof.
The film is based on Davis’ best-selling 2013 autobiography, The Soundtrack of My Life. His annual pre-Grammy party will be prominently featured in the documentary.

WME Global and Craig Emanuel of Loeb & Loeb represented Davis on the deal. Schulhof and General Counsel Deborah Zipser negotiated on behalf of IM Global.
