GOLDENVOICE LOCKS IN THREE DAYS OF GOLDEN AGERS

Oldchella is happening.

AEG’s Goldenvoice will stage Desert Trip 10/7-9 with The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan playing Friday, Paul McCartney and Neil Young on Saturday and Roger Waters and The Who closing out the weekend on Sunday. Each artist will perform a full set.

The concert will be held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, site of the Coachella and Stagecoach festivals.

Tickets go on sale 5/9 and, not surprisingly, three-day passes are a pretty penny: Standing pit and top reserved seats are $1,599; general admission is $399. Forty chefs from around the country will be handling the food operations.

Biggest question: Will they have enough Port-a-Potties to handle the rush when a performer says, “Here’s a little something from our new album”?
