After its first full day of sales, Drake’s Views had generated around 630k in equivalent album sales, confirming what he announced from the stage at his album launch party in Toronto Friday night. By the end of Saturday, Views had sold more in two days than Beyoncé’s Lemonade sold in its first six.
Projections are now in the range of 900k units for the album alone, with TEA and SEA totals (including 100m+ streams) possibly driving it north of 1m. (Note that all tracks but two are bundled with the album.) This is without physical product, as Views is an Apple exclusive through Friday (5/6).
