BBC'S BIG WEEKEND GETS BIGGER

The BBC’s annual free festival Big Weekend in Britain is taking shape, with a host of superstar artists added to the lineup including Mumford & Sons, The Weeknd, Iggy Azalea, Nick Jonas and Jess Glynne. Taking place in Exeter on 5/28-29, the event will host performances from over 50 international acts, to be enjoyed by 50k lucky ticket holders.

Taking to the Main Stage on Saturday 5/28 will be headliners Mumford & Sons, joined by Bastille, Chase and Status, Jake Bugg, Glynne, Meghan Trainor, Jonas, Sigma and Tom Odell.

RCA rockers Bring Me the Horizon will headline the In New Music We Trust Stage, joined by Chvrches, Craig David, Fetty Wap, Flume, Stormzy, Tame Impala and twenty one pilots.

On 5/29, Coldplay will headline, with Catfish & the Bottlemen, Ellie Goulding, Azalea, Kygo, OneRepublic, The 1975, The Weeknd and Years & Years also playing the main stage.

Scottish band Biffy Clyro are Sunday’s In New Music We Trust feature act; Alessia Cara, Alesso, Jack Garratt, Panic! at the Disco, Skepta, The Last Shadow Puppets and Wolf Alice are also on the bill.
