TAYLOR EATS WORLD

Taylor Swift debuted the second installment of her Apple Music ad campaign, and it's another memorable, true-to-life example of how to take maximum advantage of a music subscription service that has virtually everything.

Working from the premise of getting ready to go out, this spot is focused on the magic of hearing your favorite song when you need to psych yourself up for an epic evening.

Swift digs into an "Activities" playlist. "Oh my God, I love this song—I used to listen to it in middle school," she says in voiceover. Then, using her lipstick as a microphone (as every girl on the planet has done at some point in life) and dancing around with abandon in her bathroom, she proceeds to expertly lip sync along to "The Middle" by Jimmy Eat World. She even includes an awesome lipstick "mic drop" at the end.

With the tagline, "Every song for every moment," Apple Music is making a strong case for having every conceivable song you adore at your fingertips, and how much fun that can be.

In the tradition of the first ad, the commercial debuted via Swift's Instagram, which has an attending audience of 73m, and was strategically placed on morning news programs Good Morning America and the Today Show at 8am EDT this morning.
