Queen Beyoncé has perfected the art of the surprise album drop. After all, she was the one who orchestrated the entire trend in the first place, serving up her fifth album Beyoncé, like a gift that dropped outta the clear blue sky back in late 2013.
Fans have been patiently waiting in "Formation" ever since the superstar revealed that new single and video in spectacular fashion back on 2/6, then followed it up with an earth-slaying, culture-shifting Super Bowl halftime performance. The announcement of her Formation World Tour immediately followed, but the music didn't.
The Beyhive knows the significance of the number "4" in B's world and she regularly operates around such Numerology (9/4 is her birthday, Jay was born 12/4, they married on 04/04/08, got matching tattoos of the Roman numeral four (IV), named their daughter Blue Ivy (i.e.-- IV) and her fourth studio album was named, well, 4).
So it's certainly no coincidence that today, 4/14, Beyoncé launched her latest venture, an "athleisure" collaboration with TopShop called Ivy Park. The first-day rush to grab Bey-designed wearables crashed the retailer's website this morning, while giant lines formed outside the stores.
Even the first day of the stadium tour (4/27) coincides with this numerology as the numbers whittle down to, what else? 4. (4+2+7 =13. 1+3 = 4).
Does this mean we might get slayed with a Beyoncé album before midnight tonight? That's way too obvious, honey. But if you do the numerology, the only date remaining in April that fits is 4/18 (4+1+8=13. 1+3= 4).
My bet is Beyoncé drops her record at midnight on Sunday. Right in the middle of Coachella weekends, and in perfect alignment with the Numerology of 4.
Get ready, hive.
