DRAKE LOCKS DATE FOR VIEWS

Utilizing the pulpit/global stage of his OVO Sound Radio show on Beats 1, Drake let the world know on Saturday that his hotly anticipated album Views From the 6 is finally coming out on 4/29.

The record is an Apple Music exclusive, but for exactly how long is still unclear.

This will be Drizzy's fourth studio album since the 2013 release Nothing Was the Same, but he has significantly changed the game since then by dropping two phenomenally successful mixtapes, If You're Reading This It's Too Late and the collaborative project with Future, What a Time to Be Alive.

He's also kept up crazy momentum with a steady stream of new music releases on OVO Sound Radio and SoundCloud, including the battle record "Back to Back" and the smash "Hotline Bling," which has become his biggest (solo) crossover hit to date.

The 6 God has unveiled three singles from Views so far: "Summer Sixteen" which dropped in January, and the dual release last week of "Pop Style" featuring The Throne (Kanye West and Jay Z), and "One Dance" featuring Wizkid and Kyla. "Dance" has been #1 on the iTunes singles chart ever since, with "Pop" holding fast in the Top 5.
