MARGO PRICE: FROM SXSW TO SNL

In the week since Saturday Night Live announced that Margo Price would perform 4/9—that's tomorrow—on the late-night show, the Ian Montone-managed Third Man Records artist has been anything but desperate and depressed.

Rarely does SNL book country artists, Chris Stapleton being this year’s first exception, and Price comes in with a top 10 country album, Midwest Farmer’s Daughter, but no hit singles at Country radio.

But the show is just confirming what a lot of people have learned via social media, Shazam, Pandora and at SXSW where Price was one of the biggest hits at Pandora’s Discovery Den. Plus she got Pandora’s Lars Murray to fetch her free whiskey.

At Pandora in the last 30 days, Price's track spins have skyrocketed 2,551%, listeners are up 2,172% and station adds have increased 1,800%.

Check out her Pandora performance below.
