Domino duo seizing the top spot?

U.K. MIDWEEKS: THE LAST SHADOW PUPPETS SET FOR SECOND #1

There’s a wealth of new entries in the U.K. midweek charts this week with Domino duo Last Shadow Puppets stealing the top albums spot midway, followed by Lukas Graham's self titled debut (Warner Bros.), Pet Shop BoysSuper (X2) and Kentucky by Black Stone Cherry (Mascot).

The Last Shadow Puppets are outselling Lukas Graham by nearly 5k copies with Everything You’ve Come to Expect, which looks set to become Alex Turner and Miles Kane’s second chart topper in Blighty following their 2008 debut.

Lukas Graham are riding high with their self-titled debut following the phenomenal success of single “7 Years,” while Adele’s 25 (XL) is down three places to round off the Top 5.

Singles-wise, Mike Posner’s “I Took A Pill In Ibiza” (Island) is still leading the way, but has competition from Sia’s “Cheap Thrills” (Monkey Puzzle/RCA), which surges two places to #2 at the midway stage.

Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home” (SYCO) slips from #2 to #3, Lukas Graham’s “7 Years” is at #4, and Zara Larsson’s “Lush Life” (Black Butter/Epic/Ten) completes the Top 5.

Look out for the final victors Friday, and pour us another cuppa.
