RECORD STORE DAY 2016: U.K. EXCLUSIVES REVEALED

It's nearly that time of year when music fans flock to record stores worldwide to buy limited releases from their favourite acts for Record Store Day on 4/16, and the details of those that will appear in U.K. stores has been revealed. David Bowie, Foals, Primal Scream, Bastille, Florence + the Machine and Regina Spektor are names on the list.

The day is organised by the Entertainment Retailers Association in Britain, and you'll find all the releases here. New music, reissues and comedy classics all feature from over 250 labels (80% of which are independent).

Other highlights include unreleased material from classic artists such as The Small Faces, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Record Store Day ambassadors Metallica.

The two Bowie records, reissued by Warner label Rhino, are The Man Who Sold the World with German cover artwork, as well as a 7” picture disc of TVC15–the next in the 40th anniversary series.

Stay tuned for updates as they come, as well as initial info on the stateside RSD, also set for 4/16.
