STAPLETON TAKES #1 AT iTUNES, DROPS NEW CLIP FOR A GOOD CAUSE
Grammy winner, CMA champ and multiple ACM nominee Chris Stapleton, who graces the cover of our most recent print edition, has moved to #1 on the iTunes album chart with the long-seller Traveller (Mercury Nashville) after dropping a new video, for ballad "Fire Away," to benefit the mental-health nonprofit The Campaign to Change Direction (the track is now #27 at iTunes, by the by). "Fire Away" has jumped to #27 at iTunes, while Stapleton's "Tennessee Whiskey" (performed with brio at the CMAs with Justin Timberlake) is #35.
