LIVE NATION TAKES CARE

In 2014 Live Nation launched an internal program designed to help out employees who are experiencing hardship.

The company has improved the lives of more than 50 members of its community, and CEO Michael Rapino alerted his troops to some of those special moments in a internal email sent earlier today.

Much-needed assistance ranged from providing a homeless employee with temporary housing, to funding an emergency heart surgery for a life threatening condition of an employee's newborn child and financial assistance for others with medical expenses required for cancer treatments. Employees displaced by storms, fires and earthquakes were also aided.

Live Nation has been seriously looking after its own family.

"We've made applying to Taking Care of Our Own easy and painless, so there is little barrier to entry," Rapino wrote, "while I hope none of you needs our assistance this year, we stand ready if you do."
