YE'S TROUBLED WEEK
Kanye West has had a rough couple of days, it seems, as evidenced by audio leaked to Page Six capturing an epic rant by the artist before he took the stage at Saturday Night Live on 2/13.
Freaking out about some changes in the stage setup, he repeatedly berated the SNL production staff, screaming, "Don't f**k with me!" while comparing himself to Stanley Kubrick, Pablo Picasso, Paul the Apostle and Pablo Escobar in terms of influence, and throwing in a candid confession about Taylor Swift.
Caught at LAX later that same night by TMZ, West stopped to talk to the cameras and make a short statement, saying "The only company to ever support me was Adidas," and that without the sneaker maker, "there wouldn't have been a MSG show." He went on to say that he had the creative inspiration to achieve The Life of Pablo, "because I was able to make the Yeezys! As a creative person, you've got to have a bunch of creative outlets, and I just appreciated Addias for helping me."
