SONY'S GRAMMY GALA: THE FAMOUS AND THE FANCY

At Sony's post-Grammy gathering—surely the most spectacular soiree of them all—label group ruler Doug Morris greeted a panoply of players, including label toppers and trophy-nabbing superstars.

Morris welcomes Epic's Best New Artist winner, Meghan Trainor, and Arista Nashville/RCA breakout Cam. They subsequently compared notes to see who had more glitter in their outfits.

Morris joins Sony U.K. chief Jason Iley, artist Carrie Underwood, Sony's Kevin Kelleher and Sony Nashville head Randy Goodman for a continent-spanning, multi-genre photo op. Later, there were sliders.

RCA rulers Peter Edge and Tom Corson reminisce with the legendary Clive Davis about their years of Grammys and Grammy parties together. Later, Clive Calder texted a photo of his latest acquisition, the planet Neptune.

Epic head L.A. Reid hopes to top his personal best for "number of internationally fabulous sirens in a single photo op," as he's joined by Best New Artist winner Meghan Trainor and breakouts Zara Larsson and Camila Cabello.

Columbia EVP/GM Joel Klaiman advises artists Drew Taggart of The Chainsmokers, Daya and Rachel Platten and Disruptor prexy Adam Alpert not to ask Apple's David Dorn and Scott Plagenhoef for help decrypting an iPhone.

RCA's Grammy-winning vocal phenoms Pentatonix and manager Jonathan Kalter pose with HITS' own Samantha Hissong, who asked if they knew any songs by Deer Tick.

Columbia's Rob Stringer, Joel Klaiman and Mark Williams serenade nominee Leon Bridges and manager Jonathan Eshak with an original composition, "Baby Took My Uber Blues."

Sony/ATV chieftain and King of Publishing Marty Bandier instructs songwriter and Columbia artist Rachel Platten to write an empowerment anthem about the contents of her goodie bag.
