Taylor Swift won the first Grammy Award handed out Monday, taking home the Pop Vocal Album trophy for 1989. Producer Jack Antonoff went to the podium and called Taylor, who was backstage at Staples Center, on his cell phone.
“I’m dead serious,” Antonoff said, “we won.”
Swift was thrilled but had a more pressing need. “Is James Taylor there? Could you tell James Taylor I love him?”

Taylor's "Bad Blood" clip, meanwhile, has won Best Video. That's two for Tay. Much jubilation ensued.
