The Top 5 Highest-Grossing Films Over the Weekend Domestically

Deadpool had an incendiary Valentine's and Presidents Day Weekend, shattering previous records for the holiday period and breaking Fifty Shades of Grey's February opening weekend by approximately $45m. Marvel's Ryan Reynolds-starrer earned an 84% at Rotten Tomatoes (with a 96% audience score) and an A CinemaScore. With $135m, this is Reynolds' biggest bow to date.

As for the other Top 5 debuts, How to Be Single fell just short of expectations and garnered lukewarm reviews, while the long-awaited Zoolander 2 was torn apart by critics and audience members alike.
