Kanye West took to Twitter in another flurry of intense proclamations and introspection before taking the stage at Saturday Night Live last night. He's been in a regular rhythm with his social media presence leading up to the eventual, hopefully-soon release of The Life of Pablo, which has yet to happen because of a last-minute Chance The Rapper collaboration.
Controversy around the misogyny in and "misunderstandings" of a lyric on the song "Famous" had the tides turning yesterday with the usual media headline explosions, particularly when Swift's publicist spoke up about it.
Please forgive the profanity and give hugs and blessings to my brother Kirk for standing by me... In a few hours the journey begins...

While refuting the truth of internet memes and encouraging fans to "dance in the streets" because he is "consumed by my purpose to help the world," Ye went on to overshare on the level of his debt problems getting a fashion line off the ground. But with the Kardashian Empire right there, really? And that Kimoji app revenue? A master or a meltdown?
I write this to you my brothers while still 53 million dollars in personal debt... Please pray we overcome... This is my true heart...
