HOZIER'S CHARITABLE "CHERRY WINE"

Proceeds From Single to Benefit Those Affected by Domestic Abuse

Columbia
singer/songwriter Hozier has teamed up with Oscar-nominated starlet Saoirse Ronan to make the music video for "Cherry Wine," a touching ballad that sheds a light on the horrifically common issue of domestic violence.

The clip will premiere on Valentine's Day, and Hozier, Columbia, his U.K. label Island and Sony/ATV Publishing have announced that they will donate their respective proceeds from downloads of the single to an array of domestic abuse charity organizations worldwide.

The clip, centering around a physically abusive relationship, was directed by Emmy-winning Irish director Dearbhla Walsh and also features Game of Thrones star Moe Dunford.

To all those involved, we salute you.
