Coldplay got snippets of four songs into their Super Bowl performance before Beyonce and Bruno Mars took over, but it was enough to pique the interest of iTunes shoppers, who also heard Coldplay in a couple of commercials.
Three of the band’s performed songs—the new “Adventure of a Lifetime,” “Viva La Vida” and “Paradise”—shot into iTunes’ top 10, and new album A Head Full of Dreams has shot up to #2, followed by Ghost Stories at #6, A Rush of Blood to the Head at #6, X&Y at #15, Parachutes at #23 and Mylo Xyloto at #27. The albums are getting an added boost from a $6.99 price tag.
Stay tuned for updates.
