ILEY SAYS: THANKYOUVERYMUCH

Jason Iley's Sony Music U.K. had cause for celebration on Friday, as the Elvis album If I Can Dream passed the half a million mark in Blighty just six weeks after release on 10/30. As one of the fastest-selling albums of 2015 in the U.K., If I Can Dream (recorded with Her Majesty's Royal Philharmonic Orchestra) spent two weeks at #1 and has remained in the Top 3 since then, moving 515k units to date (last week being its best sales week yet). Midweek projections have the record staying at #2 when the chart becomes final on Friday.

If I Can Dream is the second-biggest-selling new release of 2015, behind only Adele's 25 (XL/Columbia), and the fourth-biggest-selling album of the year overall.

It's the 12th U.K. #1 album for the King, and was executive produced by Priscilla Presley—who was presented with a disc award by Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid on ITV’s Good Morning Britain today. Nick Patrick and Don Reedman share production credits.
