COLUMBIA MARSHALS BRADY AS ROCK/ALT PROMO VEEP

Brady Bedard has been upped to VP of Rock & Alternative Promotion at Columbia, reporting to EVP Promo Lee Leipsner.

A 15-year Columbia vet, Bedard was most recently Senior Director of Promo. He's worked on radio campaigns for Adele, Beyoncé, Pharrell, Hozier, Daft Punk, John Legend and countless other artists.

Leipsner referred to the newly minted VP as "one of the industry's foremost promotion executives," praising his "tenacity and passion."

For his part, Bedard declared, "Lee Leipsner, Joel Klaiman and Rob Stringer have been champions for me throughout this journey."

He then went to the label's main conference room to hear the latest Adele sales figures and join his colleagues in rolling around on giant piles of money.
