At the American Cancer Society’s Riviera Ball this weekend, entertainment mogul Doug Davis and multimedia superstar LL Cool J find themselves in the unenviable position of posing with HITS President Todd Hensley, who repeatedly asked to be “pointed in the direction of the hooch.” The event, hosted by Andrew Firestone, drew more than 300 attendees and raised in excess of $500k.
Attendees included Columbia’s DJ Mormile, UMPG’s David Kokakis, Interscope’s Archie Davis, RedOne and manager Alan Melina, Desmond Child, Polo Grounds’ Motisola Zulu, Dynamite Music’s Mitch Davis, Tom Sturges, Primary Wave’s Tom Maffei, SESAC’s Sam Kling, Davis Firm’s Jodie Shihadeh, songwriter/producer Barrett Yeretsian, actresses Molly Tarlov, Mechelle Epps, Jeanette Jenkins and artist manager Barry Williams.
Davis, 11-year-old Lexi Brown and jewelry designer Simone Smith (wife of LL Cool J).
