A GoFundMe memorial fund for Nick Alexander, the merchandising manager killed during Friday night’s attack at Le Bataclan in Paris, has raised more than $84k as of this posting. Miguel Benavides, who launched the fund in L.A., has posted that the money will be used to take care of other victims’ families.
“Today or tonight raise a glass to the memory of Nick Alexander,” Benavides wrote as part of the appeal. 1,785 participants—tendering donations ranging from $10 to $5k—have raised the funds in the three days since the horrific assault; go here to contribute to the campaign and share it on Facebook and Twitter.
